There are quite a few variables to consider such as size, scope, and type of materials but on average, we've found that:
-A typical deck takes about 1-2 weeks.
-A typical bathroom takes about 4-6 weeks
-A typical kitchen takes about 6-8 weeks
-A typical finished basement takes about 4-10 weeks.
First, we have you fill out our contact form. By doing that and including a few pictures of your current project and some inspirational pictures, we can make sure that our Introduction call goes smoothly. This also puts everything in our system so that we can make sure you are followed up with in a timely fashion.
Second, we schedule an Introduction call. The purpose of this call is to make sure we are all on the same page so that you can compare apples to apples and have all of the necessary information to make a properly informed decision. Most times on this call, we can give you a good idea of how much you can expect to invest on your project.
Third, we schedule the design phase. This is where we meet at your project, take detailed measurements and review all of the details of the project and help pick out colors and materials. After this is complete, we will be able to provide you with a quote and a beautiful 3D rendering of what you can expect your final project to look like.
After the design phase, when you decide to move forward with your home remodeling project, we will place you on the schedule and begin the Production phase of your project.
After production is complete, you can expect to enjoy your project for years to come! Our 3 year labor warranty far surpasses industry standards so you can rest assured that you're left with an amazing finished product.
One word. Protection. It protects you as a homeowner from any possible liability by having the township inspector verify that all is up to code. The inspector helps us assure our customers that everything is done properly and provides a little more transparency to be certain their space is safe for their friends and family.
There are also quite a few legal ramifications that could come up. The township could fine the homeowners. They can hold up your settlement if you decide to sell your house until they verify all is up to code. Many homeowners insurance policies will not cover damages done to an area that was remodeled without permits which would leave the homeowner picking up those costs.
